Join us for the MWHC GALA, a fundraiser to provide ongoing support for the MWHC, to induct the inaugural class of the Massachusetts Women's Hall of Fame (MWHOF), and to unveil a preview of the MWHOF Memorial! The MWHOF inaugural class includes both HISTORIC and LIVING women and groups, organizations, or movements (“organizations”).*

The MWHC Gala is a fundraiser to provide ongoing support for the MWHC and to celebrate the inaugural class of the MWHOF, including a Memorial being made by the spectacular sculptor Meredith Bergmann!

Funds raised will enable the completion of the MWHOF Memorial, and support the MWHC: website exhibits, articles, biographies and more; programming/ events; and efforts to identify a physical site, hopefully on the Freedom Trail in Boston for a “brick and mortar” MWHC!

*For this Inaugural class in 2026, which is the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution, the HISTORIC women/organizations are women/organizations of the Revolutionary Era, with the express purpose of amplifying what WOMEN contributed to and during the American Revolution. Future MWHOF classes will also include Historic and Living women. Living women/organizations are those who have contributed a lifetime of contributions and achievements in a variety of fields.
