Doris Kearns Goodwin

A Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and #1 New York Times bestselling author, Doris Kearns Goodwin has indelibly shaped public understandings of presidential leadership through her books, lectures, media appearances, and film adaptations. Born in Brooklyn, Goodwin has spent much of her adult life in Massachusetts. She earned a PhD from–and later taught at–Harvard. She is widely recognized as one of the foremost presidential historians of her generation.
