Linda Whitlock

Leadership Advisor and Community Volunteer

Linda Whitlock, a sought-after leadership advisor and highly respected public service leader, has long been engaged in leadership development, mentoring, and wealth building activities for women, youth, and families, particularly those historically underrepresented.  

Her positive impacts have been extensive, and have included her contributions as the former Nicholas President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, a past member of the Presidential Commission on White House Fellows appointed by President Biden, the former VP of Harvard Real Estate, and as founding principal of The Whitlock Group, among other leadership roles. 

Linda has served on over 20 boards across finance, healthcare, education, and the arts—including Cambridge Trust (as its first Lead Director), Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Brandeis University, and Boston's Museum of African American History—and has taught at MIT, Tufts, and the University of Michigan.  She currently serves on the board of the Red Sox Foundation, is the Co-Chair of the Quin Impact Fund, and is on the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s Community Advisory Committee.  A past co-chair of Women Corporate Directors, Linda is a member of the Boston Women’s Leaders Network.

Linda holds degrees from Mount Holyoke College and the University of Michigan, as well as honorary doctorates from Suffolk University, Babson College, and Pine Manor College. She has been inducted into the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Academy of Distinguished Bostonians, among many other honors.
