Thank You for a Wonderful Women's Equality Day 2026!

Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 12:00pm in the Boston Public Garden near the Swan Boats! 

Thank you for joining us in-person and on Facebook Live as we commemorated the day the 19th Amendment was added to the US Constitution, Aug. 26, 1920, and recognized the other laws that needed to be changed so that Black, Native American, and Asian American women - and men - could vote.

At the event, the MWHC announced the inaugural class of HISTORIC women of the Massachusetts Women's Hall of Fame (MWHOF)! Stay tuned for an announcement of LIVING Inductees - coming soon! MWHC’s flagship program is the MWHOF, and with the MWHOF Massachusetts joins seventeen other states in having a state women’s hall of fame!
