Maureen joined the MA Women’s History Center in February 2019 as the Office Manager and was the organization’s first paid staff person. She leads the organization's operations, finance, and HR systems and also oversees programs, communications and social media.
Maureen began her career as a preschool teacher, but now has more than 20 years of experience in non-profit operations, administration, and human resources. She has worked at a variety of non-profit organizations, including a church, a multi-faith spiritual wellness center and a substance abuse counseling center. Through this work, she has discovered a love for helping people.
Maureen enjoys volunteering in her community, and as a 4th generation Girl Scout, was a Girl Scout leader for 18 years. When she is not working, Maureen spends her time reading, cooking and exploring the beaches of New England with her husband and their 2 adult daughters.
